About Reggie...

Born, raised, and still living in Mount Airy, NC, Reggie's interest in guitar came early listening to his older brother Larry.  At about the age of eight, he got his first guitar.  In his teens, Reggie along with some of his schoolmates, put together a rock band that played at dances and parties.

Shortly after graduation, the band fell apart.  After that he pretty much quit playing.  On Reggie's 40th birthday his big brother gave him a Fender Strat copy.  Later on he introduced Reggie to the "blues" with a tape of Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, and Johnnie Johnson at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  Later on Reggie started listening to a lot of "bluesmen" like Buddy Guy, B. B. King, Albert King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan (who had already been killed in a helicopter crash).  That was when Reggie decided that if he could play again it would be the blues.

As time and practice went on Reggie got a feel for the blues...After years of trying to put a band together he started trying to figure out how to put the show on himself.  After buying an eight track digital recorder, drum machine, bass, and learning how to play the harmonica...the work began!
